Nicky Clacy - Specialist Papier Mâché Sculptor

Welcome to my website!

I have been working with papier mâché for seven years now and I absolutely love it. It is so versatile and you can make anything out of it.

I started in 2003 by making a basic snowman for the Christmas window for the Beverley Tourist Information Centre where I work. I then entered a couple of local open art exhibitions before joining East Riding Artists, which is a not-for-profit organisation that encourages artists living in East Yorkshire.

Since then there has been no stopping me and I have had many opportunities to exhibit my work in a range of exhibitions.

My website has given me a different range of opportunities including a commission from Aston Villa Football Club and recently some work for Big Brother 11 which was shown on Channel 4 on Monday 30th August.

This has been a brilliant opportunity for me and has been something completely different from anything that I have done before.
